On Friday October 30th the Bozeman Sunrise Rotary was joined by teachers from around the world who were just wrapping up a 6 week professional development workshop at Montana State University. They were part of the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) which brings outstanding secondary educators from all over the world to experience secondary education in the United States. We had a chance to share breakfast with these teachers and learn about their countries, their families and their experience here in the United States. They traveled to Bozeman from counties like Jordan, Kazakhstan, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Ukraine, Rwanda, Columbia, Azerbaigan and Uzbekistan and included visits to Washington DC and Yellowstone National Park. It was great to meet these teachers and learn more about the TEA Program.
