She has been in the Biomedical program all four years of high school and completed an independent study in jewelry. Julia is most proud of being a team captain for the NICA Mountain biking team. The  team is unique in having 6-12 graders who practice together. Julia mentors and supports the younger kids on the team. She served as a team captain in the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

As part of her senior project for English 4, Julia hosted a blood drive with the American Red Cross.  The drive was successful and exceeded the donation goals.
