Elizabeth is described as zealous and bubbly.  She participates in Model UN and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Elizabeth has been a member of Hawk Tennis for the past three years and hopes to be this coming year as well.  She is a member of Journey Church and serves others in the youth community.

Elizabeth works at Highland Park Pharmacy as a pharmacy clerk. She works with over the counter sales and the point of sale for prescriptions. She delivers medications to discharge patients in the hospital as a part of the Pharmacy’s perks of being inside of Bozeman Health. She cuddles babies as a volunteer in Bozeman Health’s NICU Department.

Elizabeth has spent all four years at BHS in the BioMedial program. She enjoyed this program and through it found a passion for a career in the medical field. In addition to all the knowledge she gained, she learned much about herself and feels better prepared to enter an undergraduate pre-med major. She also participated in World Quest and found learning current events an essential to becoming a knowledgeable person. Elizabeth credits World Quest and her participation in the Model UN program with teaching her how to think critically.

As Elizabeth reflects on her BHS experience, she states,  “I am so proud that I have made it this far, especially with how much hard work I have put into my high school education. I am proud that there is so much ahead of me, especially in education…. I am very honored to be chosen for this award. It has given me the realization that hard work does in fact pay off.”

Elizabeth plans to attend an undergraduate program majoring in Cellular/Molecular Biology, then attend medical school to earn a medical degree. Her ultimate goal is to become a cardio-thoracic surgeon.
