Ava is described by others as, “ bubbly,  kind, smart, dedicated, and hardworking.”

Ava is the second soprano section leader in the BHS chamber choir. She is also a member of the Spanish Honor Society, Key Club, and HOSA (a club for future health care professionals). She has maintained a 4.0 GPA every year of high school.  She has taken many AP classes and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Ava is an aerial dancer and instructor at Mountain Air Dance. She likes to lift weights in the gym. She sings, plays piano and guitar, and shares her musical talents at Brookdale Springmeadows multiple times a month.

Ava is involved in her church and has served as a youth representative for her region and as the women’s youth leader. She attends a 6:45 am religion class four days a week. She is proud that her religious faith has strengthened throughout high school.

Ava is most proud of being able to “hold fast to my values and always try my very hardest to be a kind and thoughtful person. I always try to be that person that others can depend on and confide in. I work each day to brighten others’ days through a simple smile and greeting or a heartfelt talk.”

Ava has dreams to attend BYU and major in kinesiology: exercise science. She hopes to become a personal trainer, and a rehab physical therapist. As Ava states, “ I look forward to being able to connect with people and help them in their fitness and rehabilitation journeys. I also want to raise a family when I am older, and I want to continue to serve my church for the rest of my life. Overall my desire is to be someone that others trust and love, and someone who has a real positive impact on their society.”
