What is RYLA?
Montana’s Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a 5-day long intensive and fun leadership experience. It is situated in Luccock Park, a camp south of Livingston in the foothills of the Paradise Valley. Usually about 100+ students from around our state attend and develop skills in leadership and learn about Rotary values while having fun and making connections.

Who is qualified to attend?
  • Our club selects two (2) local high school students who are currently sophomores and will be juniors next year via an interview process.
  • Club members are encouraged to submit applications on behalf of any family members or friends who qualify.  We will also be conducting interviews at both Bozeman High Schools.
How much does it cost?
  • There is no charge for those attending. RYLA costs are carried by our club and district.  Transportation is included, if needed.
What is the deadline for submitting an application and when will this year’s RYLA take place?
  • Application deadline is 30 May 2022.
  • RYLA camp will be held between 12 and 16 July 2022.
