Congratulations to Raven West, our October, 2022 Bozeman Sunrise Rotary Student of the Month!

 

Raven West is the Vice President of BHS’s Interact Club. They are also a senior captain of Memorized Speech and Debate, and a member of Spanish Honors Society and National Honor Society. Raven is a state champion in Oratory and has earned a 4.0 unweighted GPA since sophomore year.

 

Raven is most proud of their work in Speech and Debate. They dedicate a lot of  time to coaching newcomers, and perfecting their speeches throughout the season. Raven believes their role as a captain has taught them how to lead and encourage people. 

 

In addition, Raven participates in aerial dance and is a former competitive swimmer.

 

Raven hopes to take a gap year after high school,  work as an EMT, and do a lot of backpacking and traveling.

 

Raven states, “ I am a very passionate and hard worker. Whatever I decide to do, I always put my whole soul into it.”

 

 

 
 
Raven was honored with the October Student of the Month Award by  BHS Principal, Dan Mills and  BHS Interact Advisor, Mkenzie Elsberry.
