Ever since Paul Harris and his 3 other charter members of the first Rotary Club envisioned the ideals of Rotary, they initially sought out a Code of Conduct that would set the bar for morals and ethics for how Rotarians should be expected to speak and act in not just their Rotary life, but everyday life.
