Ursula Vlases is our April, 2023 Rotary Student of the Month!

Ursula is involved with Special Olympics, Bozeman Hawk Soccer, and Peer Education.

In Hawk Soccer, Ursula was awarded the 2022 MVP for Offense. She received the Golden Boot Award and earned Academic All State. She was also voted “Most Inspirational” by her teammates.

Ursula is a Level I PSIA Certified Ski Instructor at Moonlight and teaches ski lessons. This is her 5th season as a ski instructor.

In addition, Ursula is active with Special Olympics. She and her teammate are searching for gold in bowling.

Ursula has earned a 4.0 (weighted) GPA and especially enjoys AP combo, math, and physics classes.

She intends to enroll in the United States Coast Guard Academy and study Government. She will continue to play soccer - go BEARS!! - and ultimately hopes to become a search and rescue helicopter pilot.

Ursula values her family and her soccer teammates. She states, “My teammates are very important to me and it truly is what makes soccer so fun.”
