We are 90% done with the new South Entrance at GLRP. With landscape cloth down, our last step is to spread gravel over the cloth - requiring 6-8 people for roughly 90 minutes.

Simultaneous to this, we need 6-10 people to assist in removing cattails THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN CUT from the meandering stream section just off the Manley Road (North Entrance). Jobs include transporting them (via wheelbarrow and tarp) to a staging area near the road, and another group loading them into a dumpster for removal. Should take 2-3 hours if a full team shows. Please register for this event. If you can bring your own tools (tarps, wheelbarrows, hard rakes) for transporting them, that would b great. Lunch and beverages will be provided at the end of the event for an impromtu social!

TOTAL VOLUNTEER NEED IS 15-20 MAX.
