Presentation by Josh Waldo and Jim Veltkamp - Bozeman's Fire Chief and Police Chief
Come learn about the Safety First initiative, an effort the City of Bozeman is undertaking to educate voters about the Fire Station 4 bond and First Responder mill levy. Staff will be present to talk about how Bozeman’s growth has impacted our public safety departments, how the levy and bond will help and why it’s needed now, and what voters will see on the ballot. Final call for the annual BSRC membership Survey!
If you haven't completed the annual membership survey, please do so this week as we will be compiling responses next week. This is your opportunity to speak up about what you enjoy and want to see more of from YOUR rotary club.
This past Saturday September 28 was our 15th year (!!) of helping neighbors whose homes needed fixing and energy upgrades. We coordinated 50-75+ members and partners/volunteers to improve the lives of seniors and families who don't have the skills or funds to do the work themselves. This year we saw a big need of roof fixes - we replaced 2 and fixed 4 more thanks to our Roof Over Your Head (ROYH) Program!
If you cannot attend our weekly Friday gathering, learn of the make-up opportunities and our attendance guidelines by visiting this page on our website.
