Kelsey McPherson- Update on Youth Mental Health from a School Counselor
This August 18th at Eagle Mount and Zoom

Part of a series of speakers talking about mental health, one of Rotary International President Gordon R. McInally focuses for Rotary year 2023-24.
Kelsey McPherson is a school counselor at Whittier Elementary in Bozeman. This will be her fifth year as the school counselor at Whittier. As a counselor, no day looks the same - the kids bring new challenges every day, and that is what she loves about her job.
She is passionate about being proactive about student's mental health and providing the kids with as many tools as possible in their toolbox to give them appropriate alternatives to choose what they need. One of the methods they use at Whittier is a mindfulness program that was created to help support students and provide them with coping skills.
See you Friday August 18th at 6:45am in-person and on Zoom.

-Look at this Stream, Isn't it Neat?-
Much thanks to John Shurson, Susan Penner, Bob Farrington, John Allen, John Mills and others who helped dig trenches, lay water hoses and install sprinkler emitters throughout our new shrub, tree and flower area at our park. With the irrigation system in place, our stream area is full of native color.
Also, the Beaver Battalion made valiant efforts in the Battle of the Beaver at the outlet stream bridge. Well done to Doug Chandler and Bob DuBose who did a major clean out to keep the beavers at bay for another day. Check out their picture on our main webpage.
For more information on how you too can become part of the Beaver Battalion, contact: Bob Farrington.
