Supporting Our Fellow Rotarian I Ho Pomeroy
At our meeting last Friday, we were given an update on our long time Rotary member, I Ho Pomeroy. She has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and is in a fight for her life right now.
She has been a member of the Bozeman Sunrise Rotary Club for over 17 years and has become a dear friend to many of us. She brings laughter and joy everywhere she goes and has been extremely generous in giving to others through her fundraisers. She truly lives our "Service Above Self" motto.
If you would like to support I Ho and her family during this time, here are 2 options to consider:
- A Go Fund Me page has been created for I Ho to help pay for medical expenses and to fulfill her wish of making a trip back to Korea. If you would like to make a donation: *CLICK HERE*. If there is leftover money, the Pomeroys will donate it to One Valley Community Foundation.
- Lauren Peck has set up a Meal Train for I Ho, Derek, and their family. If you'd like to sign up to take a meal to them: *CLICK HERE*.
Please keep I Ho and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she battles this terrible cancer.
-The BOAR- August 26, 2023
The BOAR (Blueprint Obstacle Adventure Race) is happening August 26th, 2023 at Glen Lake Rotary Park. The 5K and 1K race supports and spreads awareness of youth experiencing homelessness in our community.
