Guides are the heart of the outdoor recreation economy of the intermountain west, but behind the scenes, guides face unique challenges directly tied to their chosen career path that lead to elevated mental health risks in states with some of the highest suicide rates in the nation (Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Colorado). Redside Foundation Executive Director Shannon Walton will share data, guide stories, and examples of successes that strengthen the health and resilience of the people who make outdoor adventure possible for so many and steward the landscapes that define the West.

Now in its sixth year, Wildlands has become one of Montana’s most powerful music and conservation gatherings. Produced by Outlaw Partners at the Big Sky Events Arena beneath iconic Lone Mountain, the annual event brings together artists, fans, and conservation leaders united by a shared love of wild and scenic spaces across the Greater Yellowstone. Wildlands celebrates the wild lands and incredible spaces that surround us through music and personal connection by directly supporting this year’s event beneficiary, PERC, The Property and Environment Research Center. The 2025 Wildlands event raised over $1.3 million for charity. 2026 will feature Carrie Underwood, Riley Green, LeAnn Rimes, Kaitlin Butts and more.

BSRC March Madness Update!
A couple of big upsets and lots of entertaining gamies this weekend led us to here, with our Men's bracket leader of Todd Greene, with Stephanie Paugh hot on his heels! Todd's bracket is in the 99th percentile of all brackets filled out!
On the Women's bracket side, the leader is Ernie Turner with Stephanie Paugh again in second place!
