Glen Lake Rotary Park Morning of Service on October 3!
We are 90% done with the new South Entrance at GLRP. With landscape cloth down, our last step is to spread gravel over the cloth - requiring 6-8 people for roughly 90 minutes.
Simultaneous to this, we need 6-10 people to assist in cutting and removing cattails from the meandering stream section just off the Manley Road (North Entrance). Jobs include cutting the cattails, passing those to people who transport them (via wheelbarrow) to a staging area near the road, and another group loading them into a dumpster for removal. Should take 2-3 hours if a full team shows.

Environmental Action of the Week!
Tip #27
Bike or walk short trips
Fresh air helps.
If 50 people replaced one drive per week, it would cut about 12,000 miles of driving per year.
