Karl will explain the importance of keeping food scraps out of the landfill in order to avoid pollution and instead create a valuable soil amendment; compost, discuss home composting practices and options as well as vermicomposting (using worms) and commercial composting and highlight solutions to prevent food waste and to manage your food scraps in the best way possible.
Tickets are currently $125/person, but the price will go up after November 20th!

Final Call for BSRC trip to Kenya!
Limited spots remain for the Bozeman Sunrise Rotary trip to Turkana, Kenya in October 2026—where guests will visit impactful water and women's empowerment projects supported by our club. The trip includes hands-on experiences with well repairs, solar water systems, community gardens, and business training for local women. If you, your family, or friends are interested, please contact Chris Moriarty or Deborah Hines soon—deposits begin in early November and space is limited to 10 guests.
