Fire and Vegetation Management in the Bozeman Ranger District

 Corey Lewellen is the District Ranger for the Bozeman Ranger District of the Custer Gallatin National Forest. Corey has worked for the US Forest Service for 20 years, being the Bozeman District Ranger for the past 4. Previously, he was the District Ranger for the Townsend Ranger District and spent the first half of his career as a Fisheries Biologist working in Colorado and Oregon. Corey has also been involved in various aspects of fire suppression and management throughout this career. He was a student at Montana State University and graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Science from Oregon State University.
