How to help people with cancer

Becky Franks has been the CEO of Cancer Support Community Montana since 2006, following her mother’s diagnosis of breast cancer. Becky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from North Dakota State University, is studying for Masters in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, and moved to Bozeman in 2003. She has worked in the non-profit sector for over 25 years, with an emphasis in Public Health and Health Education, and has a passion to enhance the quality of life for people diagnosed with cancer.

Becky is a certified Personal Trainer and is able to use this information to help people gain strength during the cancer experience. She currently serves on the Montana Cancer Coalition, and is the Chair of the Board of Health for Gallatin City-County Public Health.

Becky will talk about the services of Cancer Support Community Montana as well as provide thoughts about how to help people with cancer in our community.
