Glen Lake Rotary Park Improvements
Glen Lake Rotary Park has been a membership-led effort since chartering in 1992. It encompasses both development of new park amenities (approved by City of Bozeman Parks & Recreation Department) and cooperative efforts to maintain the park through periodic clean-up days by members and volunteers.
Our annual clean-up day is generally around the first Saturday in May and involves tasks such as:
- Re-staining patio and wood picnic structures
- Adding and re-distribution of existing sand on both the beach and volleyball court areas
- Weed and rodent control, tree limb trimming, trash pickup, power washing patio & building surfaces, and occasional painting
- Fence re-building, garden upkeep and plantings
If you are interested in assisting our club with any of these types of tasks, inquire with John Allen at johnrallen@gmail.com
If you have any suggestions for new improvements or additions of park amenities, inquire with either of the park co-chairs, Bob Farrington and Joe Souther (bobfarrington233@gmail.com or southerjt@gmail.com)
Committee: Meets: First Wednesday of each month, 7:00am via Zoom online meeting
