Oh my goodness, I have become friends with people from around the globe and have come to realize Taipei is a wonderful city! September, well September was full of new experiences and beginning the process of immersion into this new and exciting culture. I have been introduced to a whole range of new foods which I can not pronounce but are very good. Taipei is a very modern city with lots of activities to do and places to go such as the zoo, art museum, temples, night markets, tech plaza or the various hiking opportunities that surround Taipei and they are all readily available due to the excellent transit system. Also if you look out of Taipei there are countless more events to participate in and cities to visit. I have very little down time and when I do I spend it at one of the hundreds of very good cafes that have called Taipei home. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and am very excited to see what lies ahead here in my new home.
