Book Giveaway 2015 - Small Schools

 One more school was added to our list this year (Three Forks).  The 2nd grade teacher there was very appreciative that we scheduled her class this year.  We plan to visit them on the 27th.  That will conclude our book giveaway.
 
In summary, Jayne and I had a wonderful time handing out books to the seven small schools.  It is especially gratifying to visit the one-room schools in rural Montana and to see the appreciation in the children's eyes as they pick out their very own books. Many of these schools have quite a history.  Malmborg School for example, is the oldest hexagonal one-room school in Montana.  It is well preserved and displays the community's pride for their very own heritage school.  One of the students asked, "you come all the way out here just to give us books?"  YES!  This experience has been rewarding beyond words.  What a great program we have at BSRC.  Congratulations to all who participated.
