Building a Great Small Business - Sanderson Stewart, a 2014 Small Business of the Year

Sanderson Stewart was recognized in 2013 by A/E industry research firm, the Zweig Group, as a “Hot Firm,” one of the 100 fastest growing architecture and engineering firms in the United States.  In 2014, the firm was recognized by the Billings Job Service Employers Council as its 2014 Employer of Choice, and nationally the Zweig Group recognized Sanderson Stewart on its prestigious list of “Best Firms to Work For” in the civil engineering industry.  Most notably, Sanderson Stewart was named by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as the 2014 America’s Dream Big Small Business of the Year!

Michael Sanderson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sanderson Stewart.  Michael holds BS and MS degrees in civil engineering from Montana State University, where he currently serves as a member of the President’s Advisory Council. He also holds a MBA from the University of Montana, and he has studied in the executive program at the Harvard Business School.
